SECURITY STRATEGIST WITH A FOCUS ON CRIME PREVENTION

Iman holds a Bachelor´s degree in social work from Lund University in Sweden. After working as a social worker and holding a position at the City of Helsingborg’s planning department, she later chose to further her professional development as a safety and security coordinator. For the past two years she has worked as a district developer for Helsingborgshem - the municipality's housing company, and as a security strategist with a focus on crime prevention in the City of Helsingborg.
 
She is trained in the SafeGrowth® neighbourhood planning method and Crime Prevention Trough Environmental Design (CPTED) and is an active member of the SafeGrowth Network.
 
Iman has had a key role in implementing SafeGrowth in Sweden, which is the first time this method has been implemented in Europe. She continues to have an active role in coordinating SafeGrowth implementation efforts on the ground in the City of Helsingborg.
